The Chief Information Officer Council has agreed to move its shared services task force into the General Service Administration’s Office of Government-wide Policy in an effort to create data-driven advisory services for agency executives.
OGP will act as a just-in-time broker and collaborate with the CIO Council to implement policies and transition to shared services, the council said Monday.
The office has also opened the online information technology shared services to the public via the acquisition gateway to help users search shared service offerings and acquisition options.
Users will also be able to browse shared services in addition to acquisition vehicles later in 2015, CIO Council says.
