Enger and other OPM officials today testified about the agencys five Quicksilver projects at a hearing of the House Government Reform Subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations and the Census.
OPM also is deciding whether to hire a new project manager for the E-Clearance initiative. John Crandell, the former project manager, moved to the IRS earlier this month. Mark White has taken over as project manager on an interim basis, Enger said. OPMs White is leading an OMB-sponsored effort to find areas where agencies can collaborate on human resources.
The question we are trying to answer is whether we need a new project manager or whether we should just move it to Whites area, Enger said.
