India: Himachal first ISO:9001:2000 for e-governance
Himachal Pradesh has niched yet another enviable achievement to its credit by successfully implementing ‘Quality in Delivery of Public Services and emerged the First State in entire North India by acquiring ISO:9001:2000 for e-governance services in issuance of driving/conductor licenses and registration certificates for motor vehicles as Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, was presented the Certificates by D.K.S.Moorthy, Country Manager (Technical Services) of Det Norske Veritas (DNV), an Internationally reputed Certification Agency based at Norway for District Hamirpur and Sundernagar sub-division of district Mandi here today.
