    What the new UN rankings tell us about the best performing digital governments, and why some nations – like Singapore – have tumbled.

    The UN has just published the 2018 edition of its e-Government survey. While Europe continued to dominate the top spots (Denmark is number 1), Asia’s leading nations did well. Digging beneath the numbers, the qualities that leading e-government nations seem to share are not what they do but how they do it.

  • Wiener Oscar für städtische Internetangebote

    Mit dem European E-City Award (EEC-Award) wird am 5. September 2002 erstmals die Stadt mit dem besten Internetauftritt Europas ausgezeichnet. Der unter Schirmherrschaft der EU stehende Preis soll künftig jedes Jahr in Wien vergeben werden. Vorbild für die Preisverleihung ist die jährliche Oscarverleihung - und so werden die Preisträger bis zum letzten Moment geheimgehalten.
