"Implementation of this programme will allow the "e-government" to function successfully," - she has observed.
Mrs. Shuzheyeva has stated that 1.5 thousand teachers, more than 87 thousand state employees, 666 thousand public sector workers, 62 thousand servicemen, 47 thousand orphanage graduates will learn computer skills from 2007 to 2009.
"In total the programme will cover 3.094 million persons, or 26% of the population. The purpose of the programme is to increase the number of internet users to 20%," - she has stressed.
According to the Agency for computerisation and communication of RK, currently only 4-5% of Kazakhstan's population are internet users.
Besides, Mrs. Shuzheyeva has said that the "programme suggests introduction of national IT certificates."
"Certificates will be granted after the end of the studies," - she has said.
Mrs. Shuzheyeva believes that "it will allow to stimulate the population to learn computer skills."
10 billion KZT have been allocated from the national budget for the implementation of the programme of information inequality reduction for 2007-2009.
