To make sale and purchase of land in co-operative housing societies transparent and saving the people from fraud, a pilot project of biometric system is being launched for the first three months and the record of co-operative housing societies will be computerised within next six months all over the province.

This was stated by Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa while presiding over a meeting here on Friday.

Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to Chief Minister, Raja Ishfaq Sarwar, Secretary Co-operative, Secretary Housing, Additional Secretary, Local Government, Member Board of Revenue, Commissioner Lahore, DCO Lahore and DG LDA were also present on this occasion.

The meeting was informed that the pilot project is being launched for the first three months for saving the people from fraud through biometric system in co-operative housing societies.

The meeting was told that the biometric system will be computerised within next six months throughout the province.
