LARGEST FUND IN IMM HISTORY

Istanbul, which was accepted to the "100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities" call under the coordination of the IMM Foreign Relations Department, deserves an important fund. kazanwas. All projects to be carried out on combating and adapting to climate will be funded by the "Cities Mission" platform. These programs will be created together with local stakeholders and citizens with the help of the EU Mission Platform.

100 ABOUT CLIMATE-NEUTRAL AND SMART CITY

Under the Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Mission (short for the Cities Mission), it is planned to support 2030 European cities to achieve climate neutrality by 100. Technical, financial and legislative support will be provided specifically for each city. The selected cities will benefit from the support of the international coordination network and the international visibility of the cities will be increased.

As part of the contracting process of cities; In particular, InvestEU / Investment EU Programme, EIB / European Investment Bank, Just Transition Fund, Recovery and Resilience Facility, EU Regional Development Fund, Digital European Fund, private bank and other capital markets will help them find access to wider finance.
