The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning has unveiled an ambitious plan to go hi-tech.
The ministry is in the process of turning fully digital, benefiting from the global technological strides in line with the Government Action Plan (GAP) and the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf announced the digitalization scheme during a meeting with the Information and e-Government Authority Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Ali Al-Qaid.
The meeting was also attended by IT director-general Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, IT systems director Dr. Khalid Al-Matawa’a, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Dr. Nabeel Abul Fatih and other officials.
