Transforming Government since 2001
The eGovernment Authority (eGA), as part of its commitment to culture and education, is participating in 20th Al Ayam Cultural Fair 2013.

Held at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre from 16 - 24 September, the fair is held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Deputy Prime Minister and inaugurated by HE Mr. Mohammad Bin Ebrahim Al Mutawa State Minister for Follow-up.

"We strive to utilize all opportunities and potentials with a core focus on raising awareness and promoting integrated services provided by the eGovernment Authority. Our participation in the 20th Al Ayam Cultural Fair is primarily intended to enhance partnership with the individuals and private sector - as part of our steadfast belief in its significant role of raising awareness and contribution to effectively achieve the joint objectives," stated Feras J. Ahmed Consultant to CEO of the eGovernment Authority.

"The Authority is currently providing 287 eServices through multiple channels that offer service to users with more flexibility, speed and free selection of channels designed for the use of such services. These services are tailored on a regular basis to suit the general public's requirements and needs."

The eGA's staff in the authority's pavilion were situated to answer to all public enquiries, receive their feedback and provide in-depth insights about all services provided by the authority through multiple channels.

Furthermore, the authority developed and updated government data base through the advanced search engine service which was initiated in conjunction with relevant authorities.

The engine is provided with mechanisms to allow users to obtain the required search results that are in line with a package of available services and a wide range of options. The authority had centrally focused on meeting the needs of all relevant bodies - in cooperation with government entities such as nationals, expatriates, visitors and businessmen.

Furthermore, insights and clarifications on the eKey system will be passed on to the public during the fair; registration will also be opened for those interested in gaining benefits of the system which allows users of eGovernment services to identify themselves through easy, safe and a single access.

The system provides users with a secured, unified ID that enables them to conduct all government eServices and other various private sector services.
