In this context, the Civil Service Bureau's IT Director Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Mattaw'a saidd that the CSB has decided to stop expensive paperwork for monthly payrolls in order to upgrade work and speedily and easilty provide employee's with information through modern technologies as part of planned automation of government transactions in cooperation with the E-Government Authority which ensure top confidentiality whilst serving the beneficiaries of these services.
The Director of IT Systems Directorate pointed out that salary sheets can now be printed and approved by the competent HR Departments in government ministries and submit these sheets to the competent bodies with possibility of obtaining salary statements over the last three years through the EGA's portal and provide each employee access to her/his personal and career data and information.
Ahmed Al-Mattaw'a revealed that services are readily available to all Civil Service Bureau-registered employees via the E-Government Authority's Portal: www.Bahrain.bh.
He also pointed out that unregistered umployees can easily open an account and benefit from the available electronic service through the E-Government Authrotiy's portal: www.Bahrain.bh and said that each employee must have obtained a special password, entered personal ID number, bank account number and electronic code in order to be able to view the the details of her/his salary.
The Civil Service Bureau introduced electronic salary sheets in order stop paperwork for employees under its suprvision in order to reduce the cost of printing, transportation and distirubtion in addition to expediting the obtaining of details of employee payrolls under the Civil Service Bureaus's strategy in compliance with the Bahrain Economic Strategy 2030.
