The Hyderabad City Police has been awarded the e-Governance Award (Award of Excellence) for the year 2017, in the category of Best e-Governance Project – Police Work Force Management System – Aadhaar enabled Biometric Attendance System with Registered Devices Services.
VV Srinivasa Rao, Commissioner of Police, received the award during the the 52nd Annual Convention of Computer Society of India (CSI Nihilent e-Governance Awards) at Kolkata on Saturday.
On the other hand, Swati Lakra, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Hyderabad received the Excellence Award- 2017 for ‘She Team’ – Women safety initiatives by the Telangana State Police Department in the category of Women Safety in Public Spaces during the convention.
